Nonclassical Vibrations of a Monoclinic Composite Strip

A mathematical model of damped flexural–torsional vibrations monoclinic composite strip constant-length rectangular cross section is proposed. The based on the refined Timoshenko beam-bending theory, theory generalized Voigt–Lekhnitskii torsion, and elastic–viscoelastic correspondence principle in linear viscoelasticity. two-stage method for solving a coupled system differential equations developed. First, using Laplace transform spatial variable, real natural frequencies forms are found. To determine complex strip, found values used as their initial frequencies, then calculated by third-order iterations. An assessment given reliability numerical solution performed comparing experimental loss factors. results study effect angles orientation reinforcing fibers lengths factors free–free cantilever stripes discussed.
